Collection: Landscape Paintings & Prints

Sometimes I find my mind wandering through the memories of my childhood in Eastern Oregon. In these times, I often turn to the grounding tones and forms of earth, rock, water, sky that are evocative of the high desert of my youth. I may start with an abstract form or a line, which surprises me when it turns into a rocky cliff, cascading waterfall or a desert prairie. I let color and form guide my subconscious through expressions that may be formless or take shape as a landscape, half-remembered or reflective of a dream.Â
